Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Rapid Jobs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform.
About Rapid Jobs
Rapid Jobs is a platform that connects people who need help with local tasks and services with people willing to perform those tasks.
Rapid Jobs is not an employer, staffing agency, contractor, broker, or representative of any user. We do not supervise, direct, control, or guarantee any work performed through the platform.
Rapid Jobs also allows users to create listings offering services to other users. Rapid Jobs does not itself provide, perform, supervise, endorse, or guarantee services advertised by users.
Location-Based Services
Rapid Jobs uses the work location selected by users to display nearby job opportunities and improve job matching.
Users may choose to manually enter a work location or, where supported, allow the app to use their device's current location. Users are responsible for ensuring their selected work location is accurate and may update it at any time within the application.
Rapid Jobs does not guarantee that all available jobs within a geographic area will be displayed or that displayed jobs are located within an exact distance from the selected work location.
Service listings may also use location information to help users discover services available in their selected area. Rapid Jobs does not guarantee the availability, proximity, or accuracy of service locations displayed through the platform.
User Responsibilities
Users are solely responsible for:
- The accuracy of information they provide
- The jobs they post
- The service listings they create
- The services they perform
- The accuracy of service descriptions, pricing, availability, qualifications, and other service-related information
- Communications with other users
- Compliance with applicable laws
- Any agreements entered into with other users
- Obtaining any licenses, permits, insurance, certifications, or other authorization required to provide a service
Service Listings and Service Providers
Users may create listings describing services they are willing to provide. Service providers are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, quality, safety, pricing, availability, and delivery of the services they advertise.
Users seeking services are responsible for evaluating service providers before entering into an agreement, including determining whether a provider has any qualifications, licenses, permits, insurance, or certifications that may be required.
Any agreement for services is made directly between the users involved. Rapid Jobs is not a party to agreements between service providers and users seeking services.
Rapid Jobs does not guarantee that a service provider will complete a service, that a user will purchase a service, or that either party will fulfill any agreement made through the platform.
Payments and Transactions
Payments, compensation, reimbursements, and other financial arrangements are the sole responsibility of the users involved.
Rapid Jobs is not responsible for payment disputes, non-payment, chargebacks, taxes, employment classifications, or financial losses arising from user interactions.
This includes payments or financial arrangements related to services advertised or obtained through service listings on Rapid Jobs.
User Content
Users retain ownership of content they submit, including job postings, messages, images, reviews, and profile information.
User content may also include service listings, service descriptions, pricing information, categories, images, and other information users provide when advertising a service.
By submitting content, users grant Rapid Jobs a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, store, and distribute such content solely for operating and improving the platform.
Acceptable Use
Users are responsible for the content they post on Rapid Jobs. You agree not to post content that is illegal, fraudulent, misleading, abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable. Rapid Jobs provides tools for users to report inappropriate content and block abusive users. Reported content may be reviewed and removed if it violates these Terms. Accounts that repeatedly violate these Terms may be suspended or permanently terminated at our discretion. By using Rapid Jobs, you agree to interact respectfully with other users and comply with all applicable laws.
These requirements apply to both job postings and service listings. Rapid Jobs may remove or restrict service listings that violate these Terms, applicable laws, or platform policies.
Prohibited Activities
- Posting fraudulent or misleading jobs
- Posting fraudulent, misleading, or illegal services
- Offering services that the user is not legally permitted or qualified to provide
- Harassment or abuse of other users
- Violating applicable laws
- Impersonating another person
- Uploading harmful or malicious content
- Attempting unauthorized access to the platform
Safety and Background Checks
Rapid Jobs does not perform background checks on all users and does not guarantee the identity, qualifications, licensing, conduct, quality, legality, or safety of any user, service, or job posting.
Users are responsible for exercising appropriate caution when interacting with others through the platform.
Users should independently evaluate service providers and job posters before meeting, exchanging payment, sharing personal information, or entering into an agreement.
Account Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts at our sole discretion, including for violations of these Terms, suspected fraud, abuse, or security concerns.
We may also remove or restrict job postings or service listings that we believe violate these Terms, applicable laws, or our platform policies.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Rapid Jobs is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, availability, accuracy, or suitability of the platform.
Rapid Jobs does not warrant or guarantee the quality, safety, legality, accuracy, availability, or outcome of any service advertised or performed by users through the platform.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rapid Jobs and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the platform.
This includes damages related to user conduct, job performance, injuries, property damage, financial loss, disputes, or service interruptions.
This also includes claims, losses, injuries, property damage, or disputes arising from services advertised, requested, purchased, or performed through the platform.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Rapid Jobs and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the platform, violation of these Terms, or interactions with other users.
This includes claims arising from jobs you post or perform, services you advertise, provide, request, or receive, and agreements you enter into with other users.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on our website and within the application.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
